Pre-season preparation: stocking up for the rugby season

Reading time: 1 min

Pre-season preparation isn’t only happening on the training pitch.

Ahead of the new rugby season, we’ve also been getting the pitch-side medical and treatment supplies organised, with the aim of having most of the season’s stock ready before the competitive fixtures get properly underway.

That means plenty of tape, dressings, gloves, wound-care supplies and other equipment that may be needed during training and on match days.

Rugby Medical Treatment Supplies

It might not be the most glamorous part of rugby, but having the right equipment available – and knowing where everything is – is an important part of being prepared when somebody needs attention.

Buying much of the stock before the season also means we’re not constantly trying to replace individual items from week to week as they are used.

Of course, no amount of tape or medical equipment can prevent every injury. The aim is simply to make sure that when players do need assessment or immediate pitch-side care, the appropriate equipment is already there.

Now we just need the season to start.
